A witch from old England once read
That some nightshade can arouse the dead.
     She tried it and shrieked
For a corpse thought she reeked
And threw a gravestone at her head.

The old hag got out of the way
And ran home, cursing the day.
When she got home she saw,
In her door, a great maw,
Which ate her and slithered away.
