"A Blurb"

© 2015 by Andersen Silva

He knew beggars and choosers,
     And winners and losers,
In fact, he tried his hand at all those.

Lovers and friends,
     Beginnings and ends,
And the means, too, I suppose.

He lived for a while,
     And died the same way.
Not too much guile,
     A nice guy, they say.

I'd tell you some more,
     If only I knew,
How he was any different
     From me and from you...
