"Why?" asked I.
     "Because," a pause,
"It seems your screams
     Have broken laws.

You fight the blight,
     Despise the lies.
Our work, you jerk,
     Is being nullified."

"I see," said me,
     "My strain and pain
To thwart your sort
     Hasn't been in vain."

"For this," he hissed,
     "You'll pay and pay;
Evil, it will
     Rule Earth someday."
