With a limited amount of time, and a desire to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I decided to spend a few days in Chicago and a few days in Cleveland in the summer of 2006.

Chicago/Cleveland 2006

Looks like we're big in Chicago!
At Garfield Park, making sure the camera worked
The Chicago skyline as seen from the Conservatory-Central Park Drive CTA station
The Wrigley Building and some of its neighbors
The Tribune Tower from across the Michigan Bridge
The Chicago River
Up N. Michigan Avenue
Down N. Michigan Avenue
Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park (yes, it's a Gehry)
The Smurfit-Stone Building is one of my favorites from any city
The pedestrian bridge over Columbus Drive
A rabbit having dinner at Grant Park
More buildings about food and songs
More wascally wabbits
The Hancock Center
Willie Dixon's Blues Heaven, the old Chess Records building
Chi-town
Cooool...
Monroe Harbor
Buckingham Fountain
Dr. Robert Hartley (Bob Newhart)!
The Chicago Children's Museum and the Ferris wheel at Navy Pier
Yep, I even made it to Lake Michigan's beach
The Water Tower
The Noguchi sculpture Portal, with the Cuyahoga County Court House in the background
One of City Hall's doors
Key Tower
Browns Stadium and the Great Lakes Science Center, with Lake Erie in the background
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
Commemorating 2006, the Year of the Dog
Apparently, it was free, but I couldn't fit it into my backpack
One of the Guitar Mania guitars
Cleveland rocks
No, really, Cleveland rocks
A sailboat off Voinovich Park
From the park
Another view of the Hall of Fame
Mmm, Rock & Roll Boulevard...
St. John's Cathedral
The Federal Reserve
The Arcade, a gorgeous building
The Old Stone Church
The Fab Four
In a historical district of Cleveland Heights
There's always a squirrel about
This time, there was a chipmunk, too
Welcome!
Nan O'Malley at Nighttown
Looking out from inside the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Not a great Treo shot, but it's ZZ Top's Eliminator!
